Step-by-step workshop
- Inspect the fictional invoice alongside the extracted fields. Treat extraction as a proposal, not a trusted record.
- Define required fields: invoice ID, supplier, amount, and currency. Require a positive numeric amount.
- Correct the intentionally malformed amount in the demo and validate again.
- Keep invalid records in a review queue. Only allow validated records to progress.
Challenge task
Reject missing suppliers and unsupported currencies before routing.
Expected output
A verified sample result for supported inputs; a clear review or failure state for missing evidence, invalid data, or configuration errors. Nothing sent, saved, or changed externally.
Extension idea
Add duplicate invoice detection using the invoice ID.
